this saturday marks the beginning of my favorite season of the year. college football. mainly b/c it marks the beginning of fall (cooler weather, thank god), family get togethers, chili parties, and lazy saturdays. my auburn tigers are ranked in the top ten right now. i don't have my hopes up too high, but it's pretty exciting. this sat. night they play washington state. anyone interested in a chili party?

...and a difficult time for me. While I do enjoy some football (up to 37 minutes of it at a time), and some chili (up to 37 oz of it at a time), I just hate it when your team loses, Babydoll. It really wrecks a weekend. I think that is why God has orchestrated that Auburn has lost about two games total during the entire first two years of our marriage: just so we can establish a strong foundation without all the clutter that a mediocre football program can inspire. Here's hoping (desperately) for continued success for Thomas Tubberville and his Tigers.
I could definitely do a chili party, if only to see the marital bliss that victory inspires. What could I bring?
